what is tithing?
Tithing is an important part of our obedience to God and is found throughout the Bible. What can reveal a person’s true heart more than money (Luke 12;34)? Tithing is an act of worship. The Bible speaks so strongly of tithing that its is the only place in Scripture where God tells us to put Him to the test (Malachi 3:10). From the Bible we see that tithing is the “first fruits” of our income and represents ten percent of our earnings, but why stop there? Tithing is the minimum for those who follow Jesus, but we should strive to give sacrificially; above and beyond.

Ways to give
IN PERSON // Cash and check offerings are collected during Sunday services and can be dropped of at our church offices during business hours throughout the week as well. All checks should be made out to Church on Main.
MAIL // Offerings can be mailed directly to Church on Main at PO Box 647 Snellville, Ga 30078.
TEXT // Quick and easy access to our offering platform can be made by texting the word “Give” to 770-954-8181 at any time.
ONLINE // You may make one time or recurring scheduled gifts to Church on Main using convenient Electronic Funds Transfer directly from your bank account or by credit or debit card.
You may enjoy significant tax benefits by donating marketable securities such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds to Church on Main. To learn more about giving securities, please contact finance@churchonmain.net.

Are there processing fees associated with my gift?
Yes, every donation has a transaction fee deducted. By checking the option to “cover processing fee” (below contribution information), you will cover that fee and Church on Main will receive 100% of your original donation amount.
If I cover the processing fee, will I receive contribution credit?
Yes, absolutely!
are the church on main website & giving link secure with my personal information?
Our website and giving links are absolutely secure. Your personal information will remain confidential.
can i set up my gift as “recurring”?
Yes! Your gift can be set to weekly, biweekly or monthly for your convenience.
what is the most effective & secure way to give online?
Using your bank routing number and account number is the most effective way to give online. The fees are 2.7% plus $0.50, however, it is capped at $2.50 max.
is it ok to use a debit or credit card?
Using a debit or credit card is accepted, however the church is charged 2.7% plus $0.50 and there is no cap.
Why does my bank/credit card statement read “Simple donation” or “austin tx”?
The Church on Main Online Giving Platform, “Simple Donate”, is based in Austin, Tx. The contributions are processed there and then sent to Church on Main’s banking partner for deposit. There is no need to worry if you see this on your statement.
